What exactly is Ultraformer MPT?

The key word is focused.
Ultrasound energy travels through tissue and is concentrated at a selected focal depth. This allows a small region beneath the surface to receive substantially more energy than the tissue the ultrasound passes through on its way there.
A useful analogy is a magnifying glass concentrating sunlight into a small focal point. The physics is not identical, but the concept is similar: energy that is relatively dispersed before the focus becomes concentrated within a defined target zone.
How does focused ultrasound reach deeper tissue without treating everything above it?
This is the central technical principle behind HIFU.
The transducer generates ultrasound waves that travel through superficial tissue. Their geometry causes the waves to converge at a predetermined depth.

What does MPT mean?
MPT stands for Micro-Pulsed Technology.
Ultraformer MPT can deliver focused ultrasound using different energy patterns. Two particularly important modes are Normal Mode and MP Mode.
Normal Mode
Normal Mode creates a sequence of discrete thermal coagulation points within the selected target layer.
This pattern is commonly used when controlled, precise focal treatment is the priority.
MP Mode

Why have two energy-delivery modes?

More shots do not automatically mean a better result

But the number of shots is only one part of a protocol.
